چکیده

Abstract Background Obesity is a risk factor for cholelithiasis. Besides, rapid weight loss after bariatric surgery upsurges the rate of cholelithiasis and acute cholecystitis. This study aimed to compare gallstone development frequency LSG under ursodeoxycholic acid (UDCA) prophylaxis. Methods prospective controlled included 332 patients scheduled randomized receive 500 mg UDCA daily 12 months (UDCA Group) or no treatment (Control Group). Ultrasonography was done 6 detect gallstones. Cholecystectomy complicated cases Results Seventy-one were lost follow-up, 3 developed severe adverse effects excluded. This drug-related effect is the reverse of the increase normally seen after administration of benzodiazepines.1 We have also observed that auditory-evoked responses to clicks increase from very small prewithdrawal values to normal values over the same time.
